Model 24FLH227
The 24-inch flagship, one Sherman equals two BattleAxes.
The Sherman is a 24" front-loaded horn subwoofer engineered for extreme low-frequency reproduction and unmatched output. As the largest subwoofer in the HSD lineup, a single Sherman delivers the equivalent output of two BattleAxes, the ultimate choice for festivals, outdoor venues, and events that demand earth-shaking bass. Hand-built by Hennessey Sound Design in Massachusetts, and backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

Buyer research
Common pre-purchase questions on the HSD Sherman.
That is HSD's own equivalence, and the math tracks: a 24″ driver on a 72″-deep horn with 108 dB sensitivity moves the air of two separate 21″ cabinets. One Sherman ($10,600) versus two BattleAxes ($14,200) is also the cheaper path to the same output, if your truck, stage, and crew can handle a 440 lb cabinet.
2,300 W continuous (4,600 W program), with a 4- or 8-ohm driver option. With the 4-ohm driver, one channel of the HSD KP Series 4-10KP or KD Series 4-10KD (2,500 W into 4 ohms) per Sherman is the clean match, four Shermans per 2U amp. The 8-ohm option suits parallel wiring schemes on high-power KD channels; we will spec it with you.
Festival producers, outdoor event operators, and venues that program earth-moving low end as a feature, the events where the sub wall is part of the draw. It is the largest subwoofer HSD builds, and it exists for shows where nothing smaller is honest.
Plan seriously: 30″ W × 48″ H × 72″ D and 440 lbs per cabinet. It ships crated freight, wants a liftgate or forklift, and moves on wheels and ramps, not hands. We quote freight to your dock as part of every Sherman system.
System design
The Sherman is the flagship base layer, everything else stacks on top.
Cannons ride the Sherman base and carry 65–220 Hz, keeping the 24″ horn focused where it dominates.
For the biggest walls: Sherman sub-bass, Hammer mid-bass, Haymaker tops, the full HSD artillery line.
One channel per Sherman with the 4-ohm driver; universal-voltage PFC supply for festival power.
