Reference-grade loudspeakers, hand-built in Berkeley, California for forty years and counting. The current lineup at FBS: the brand-new Tigra line array, the Panther flagship, the 2100 LFC and 900 LFC subs, the ULTRA-X42 and ULTRA-X22 compact tops, and the Galileo GALAXY processing platform. We design and spec the system. We program the network. We are here on Saturday night when the room needs us.
No pricing online. Real quotes by phone or form, written the same business day.
These are the last remaining LEOPARD compact line array elements, new units, plus open-box units that came straight off the Metallica tour. When they are gone, they are gone.
Meyer Sound pricing is never published. Call, email, or send the contact form and we will send your LEOPARD pricing the same business day.
What sets Meyer apart
This is the platform we recommend when the room cannot afford to sound like a sound system. The cabinets disappear into the music. The system stays the same every time we walk in.
01 · Manufacturing
Every Meyer loudspeaker is hand-assembled by a single technician in Berkeley, California, signed, and tested in an echo chamber against serial number one of that model. If a cabinet ever comes back for repair, it gets matched to that same reference. The system you put in this year sounds like the system you add to it next year.
02 · Measurement
Meyer developed M-noise, now an AES standard noise source for measuring loudspeaker performance. Pull a Meyer data sheet, play the M-noise track, and you can replicate the published response curve in your room. The spec on the page is the spec you get.
03 · Coverage
Five-year warranty parts and labor on the loudspeaker, including the amplifier, across the standard lineup. The new Tigra ships with an 8-year warranty. Most amps in this category carry one or two. Meyer ships systems that live on the road or in the wall for a decade plus.
04 · Network
The current Meyer generation runs Milan Certified AVB digital audio plus analog backup on the same loudspeaker. Build a redundant network, fail over to analog if needed. The line array is a network appliance, and that is where touring and install audio is going.
The current lineup
Headliner line array down to flush ceiling. Tigra and 1800 LFC are the newest generation, introduced at InfoComm 2026 and now shipping. We spec the right cabinet for your room.
Medium-format line array with Panther-class performance in a right-sized cabinet. Tigra-L hits 146 dB max SPL (140.5 dB AES75 max linear). 55 Hz to 16 kHz with a Panther-matched low-frequency contour. First Meyer line array to launch with GEN-1 onboard: Milan + analog, Galileo GALAXY-class DSP built into the loudspeaker, no external processing required. 8-year warranty.
The flagship. Over 150 dB output in a 150-pound cabinet. Three horn variants: Panther-M (95°), Panther-W (110°), Panther-L (80° long-throw). Frequency range 55 Hz to 16 kHz. Milan Certified, the first Milan Certified line array in the industry. IP55 weather protected with no rain hood.
Single 21-inch four-voice-coil woofer. Class D amplifier rated at 1200 W continuous, 8000 W peak. Frequency response 30 to 125 Hz. Replaces the 1100 LFC with a lighter cabinet, easier form factor, and the same Milan + analog dual input topology as Panther.
The compact LFC. Same sonic linearity as the larger LFC family in a smaller, lighter cabinet. Single 18-inch dual-coil long-excursion driver, 3100 W Class D amplifier, 32 Hz to 115 Hz response, 133 dB peak SPL. Available IP65 weatherized for year-round outdoor deployment.
Controlled coverage compact loudspeaker. Two 8-inch low-frequency drivers and a 3-inch compression driver on a rotatable 70° x 50° Constant-Q horn. Three-channel Class D amplifier rated 1950 W peak. 55 Hz to 19.5 kHz. Distortion under 0.02%. Available IP65 weatherized for outdoor deployment.
The smallest of the ULTRA family. Two 5-inch low-frequency drivers and a 2-inch compression driver on a rotatable 80° x 50° horn. 60 Hz to 18 kHz. Compact 7.4 by 19 by 8.7 inch footprint at 27 pounds. The right answer for tight ceilings, fill positions, and intimate rooms.
Matrix routing, alignment, and processing for Meyer arrays. The brain of the system. Drives Panther, Tigra, LEOPARD, 900 LFC and the full self-powered lineup. We program GALAXY in-house against your room measurements as part of every Meyer build.
The low-frequency partner to Tigra. Launches on the same GEN-1 platform: onboard signal processing, control, networking, and a dedicated Galileo GALAXY output channel built into the cabinet. Right-sized footprint for medium-format rooms where the 2100 is more than the room needs.
Quality you can audit
Most loudspeaker companies build to a price point. Meyer builds to a process. We spec Meyer for the rooms where the system has to sound the same the day it goes in, two years later when we add a cabinet, and five years later after a road repair. Here is why that holds up.
01 · Hand assembly
Every Meyer loudspeaker is assembled by a single technician at the Berkeley factory. The build sheet lives on the cart with every part for that cabinet. The technician takes the cart to a station, builds the loudspeaker start to finish, and signs the work. The entire facility runs zero assembly-line conveyor belts. The only conveyor belt on the floor is the dryer line for paper cones.
If you call Meyer with a serial number from a loudspeaker built twenty years ago, they can pull the build sheet and tell you which technician assembled it, which circuit board batch they used, when it was electrically tested, and when it left the building. Forty years of build records, every cabinet traceable.
02 · Echo-chamber matching
Before a cabinet leaves the factory it goes through an echo chamber and gets measured against serial number one of that model. Same on the way back in. If you send a cabinet to Berkeley for repair, it goes back through the same chamber and the response curve has to match. That is how Meyer guarantees that the cabinet you put in your room this year sounds identical to the one you add to it next year, and identical to the one you got repaired after a tour drop.
For an integrator that matters. A venue you specced in 2020 can take a new cabinet today and the system stays one system. No drift across batches. No swapped panels with subtly different voicing.
03 · Published spec, replicable in your room
Meyer developed M-noise as a noise source for measuring loudspeaker performance with music-like content instead of pink noise. The AES adopted it as an industry standard. The point: pull a Meyer data sheet, play the M-noise track in your room, and you can replicate the published response curve in the field. The number on the page is the number you get.
Most manufacturers publish specs the marketing department signs off on. Meyer publishes specs the test bench can prove. The difference shows up every time someone has to defend a spec to an architect, an acoustician, or a venue owner with a measurement mic.
04 · Coverage that lasts
The whole Meyer lineup carries a five-year warranty on parts and labor, including the amplifier. Tigra raised that to eight years at launch. Most amps in this category get one or two. The reason Meyer can stand behind five and eight years is the build process: drivers, formers, voice coils, and circuit boards are tested at every step, and every cabinet has matching documentation that lets the factory diagnose a failure twenty years later.
The practical effect on a venue install: the system you put in stays in. We have rooms with Meyer rigs that have been working day and night for over a decade with no panel swaps. That is what we are recommending when we put Meyer in the quote.
Real install · New Orleans
A boutique-hotel poolside lounge running Meyer Sound 900 LFC subs and ULTRA-X42 tops outdoor in IP65 weatherized form, BASSBOSS coaxials at the indoor cocktail bar, and ADJ lighting on the same FBS-programmed control network.
Why FBS for Meyer
Most Meyer dealers ship cabinets and hand you the catalog. We design the system against your room measurements, program the Galileo GALAXY network in-house, manage the install through finish, and stay on call when the room is open. The brand sells you boxes. We deliver the system.
For touring rigs, install builds, weatherized outdoor stages, and corporate AV that has to read clean year-round, Meyer is the platform we recommend. We have been specifying it for over a decade.
