Model 18MBH70
18-inch bandpass horn built to ride on top of big FLH sub stacks.
The Cannon is an 18" straight bandpass horn engineered for exceptionally high sensitivity and an extended low-mid range. Designed to complement large stacks of front-loaded horn subwoofers, it provides high-SPL reinforcement in the 65-225 Hz passband, an ideal weapon for high-impact dance music and live sound. Its compact trapezoid design stacks cleanly and runs passive. Hand-built by Hennessey Sound Design in Massachusetts, and backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

Buyer research
Common pre-purchase questions on the HSD Cannon.
One job, done properly: ride on top of large front-loaded-horn subwoofer stacks and reinforce the 65–220 Hz band at very high sensitivity. Its straight bandpass horn and compact trapezoid shape stack cleanly on FLH subs, and its extended low-mid reach gives dance music and live sound their physical punch.
The signature HSD wall: Mantarray 60 point-source tops over Cannons over BattleAxe 21″ subs. The Mantarray covers 200 Hz up, the Cannon owns 65–220 Hz, and the BattleAxe digs to the mid-20s, three horn-loaded layers, each doing one band well.
Yes. Any large FLH sub stack benefits: Battlehawk, Sherman, or Warhammer bases all cross naturally into the Cannon's passband, and the trapezoid cabinet is made to sit on top of them.
System design
The Cannon is the low-mid artillery layer on top of HSD's big sub stacks.
The classic HSD combination: array-optimized point-source tops over Cannon low-mids.
The renowned 21 with usable output to 25 Hz. Cannons stack cleanly on top of BattleAxe walls.
Two Cannons per 2,500 W channel, eight boxes on one 4-10KD.
