DiaMon Rack Powered versus self-powered DiaMon, which one do I want?

Different infrastructure. Self-powered DiaMon‑MK3 has the amplifier in the cabinet, plugs into mains power, and is designed for mobile and event work. DiaMon Rack Powered is passive: the cabinet has no amplifier, runs on speaker-level signal from an external rack amp (Ashly NXP8004 default), and is designed for permanent install with centralized amplification.

Why the Ashly NXP8004 specifically?

The NXP8004 4-channel 3200W is matched to the DiaMon RP load and supports BASSBOSS DSP profiles. Network monitoring via Ashly Protea integrates into venue AV management systems. Other compatible 4-channel rack amps with similar output can be used; the NXP8004 is what we ship most recommended pairing.

Can I run more than 4 DiaMons on one amp?

No. The NXP8004 is 4-channel and one channel drives one cabinet. For installs with more than 4 cabinets per zone, deploy multiple NXP8004 amps. The math scales linearly.

Four standard finishes: Black (textured polyurea, matches BASSBOSS catalog), Glossy Black (premium architectural), White (residential, retail, bright architectural), Gold (luxury hospitality and premium retail). All finishes use the same polyurea base for weather resistance.

Can the DiaMon RP be deployed outdoors?

Yes. The polyurea finish, weatherproof construction, and cabinet integrity are the same as the self-powered DiaMon-MK3. Outdoor patios, rooftop bars, and exterior architectural deployments are real install categories.

What is the warranty?

Standard BASSBOSS warranty applies to the passive cabinet. The Ashly NXP8004 amp carries Ashly factory warranty. We coordinate warranty service between BASSBOSS and Ashly for our install customers.
