There are three ways to put a bright screen outdoors: install a fixed LED wall, buy a mobile LED trailer, or rent for the dates you need. This guide explains when each one fits, what the trailers actually cost, and the questions that separate a real outdoor LED display supplier from a box seller.
Buyers usually arrive at this decision from a business need: a patio that needs game-day video, an events calendar that needs a screen at a different site every weekend, or a one-off festival. The right purchase follows the pattern of use, not the other way around.
The quick test: one address, buy a wall. Many addresses, buy a trailer. A few dates a year, rent, and revisit the math when the rental spend starts to look like a payment.
For permanent outdoor walls, Fullblast Sound supplies and installs DVS LED displays. Fixed outdoor work is genuinely custom: the right panel depends on viewing distance, sun exposure, mounting structure, and the content you plan to run, so we keep the spec talk qualitative here and put real numbers on a quote against your actual site.
What a fixed outdoor wall project includes when we do it: site survey, panel selection sized to the viewing distance, weather-rated structure and mounting, power and data runs, video processing, and integration with the venue's existing AV so staff can actually run the thing from the same control they already use. Our video walls page covers the offering, and our outdoor sports bar video wall install shows a completed outdoor project of exactly this kind.
If your wall is for a bar or restaurant showing sports, the buying considerations are different enough that we wrote them up separately in our sports bar video walls guide.
For screens that travel, we sell MOBO mobile LED trailers as the authorized US dealer, with nationwide delivery. Trailers are assembled and supported in the US, in St. Petersburg, FL. Every model uses 3.91mm pixel pitch panels, and most sizes come in two configurations: a high configuration at 7500 nits brightness with 7680Hz refresh, and a lower-cost configuration at 5500 nits with 3840Hz refresh. Market prices are published, so we can print them:
| Model | Screen (ft) | High Config | Low Config |
|---|---|---|---|
| MB-5 Lite | 9.84 x 4.92 | $30,000 | Single config |
| MB-10 | 13.12 x 8.2 | $65,000 | $55,000 |
| MB-15 | 17 x 10 | $90,000 | $75,000 |
| MB-22 | 20 x 11.5 | $135,000 | $110,000 |
| MB-28 | 23 x 13 | $165,000 | $130,000 |
| MB-15E enclosed | 17 x 10 | $115,000 | $90,000 |
| MB-28E enclosed | 23 x 13 | $175,000 | $140,000 |
The practical case for a trailer is deployment: one person can set a MOBO trailer up in about 15 minutes, the screen rises on a hydraulic lift, and the trailers are DOT-compliant for the road. Real-world duty is documented: MOBO trailers ran FIFA World Cup watch-party screens in the Seattle and Tacoma area in 2026, and the city of Spanish Fork, Utah uses one for municipal events, as reported by MOBO Manufacturing. The full lineup is on our MOBO page, and our LED screen trailer cost guide breaks down every model and configuration in detail.
Whoever you buy from, including us, these five questions expose the difference between a supplier who will still be useful in year five and one who disappears after the wire transfer:
You can buy LED panels from a website. What you cannot buy from a website is the part of the project that determines whether the screen actually works for your business: a design matched to your sightlines and sun, an installation that passes inspection, integration with your video sources and control system so staff can run it, and one accountable phone number when something fails on a Saturday.
That is the case for buying from a dealer-integrator. Fullblast Sound designs, supplies, and installs complete AV systems, sound, lighting, LED video, and multi-zone control, for venues across Texas and nationwide, and the same team that installs your wall also ties it into the rest of your building. Financing rides on the same quote, so the display, installation, and control integration can be one project with one payment instead of three vendors pointing at each other.
Most businesses finance displays at this price level. Through our commercial financing partner, business financing starts at $5,000 with a one-page application and no application fee. Credit decisions come back in 24 to 48 hours, A through D credit is welcome, startups may qualify, and 100% financing programs exist. Terms run 12 to 72 months, up to 84 on some programs, the first payment can be deferred 60 to 90 days, and installation, software, and soft costs can be bundled into the lease. Cities and schools can use the municipal lease program, with financing available up to $1,000,000. Figures are reported by the financing partner, and approval is not guaranteed. Details are on our financing page.
A financed display placed in service by December 31 may also qualify for the Section 179 deduction, with a 2026 limit of $2,560,000 and 100% bonus depreciation available, per section179.org. This is general information, not tax advice. Consult your tax advisor.
Outdoor LED displays come from three kinds of suppliers: dealer-integrators who design, supply, and install fixed walls; trailer manufacturers and their dealers for mobile LED screens; and rental houses for short-term needs. Fullblast Sound covers the first two, supplying and installing DVS LED fixed walls and selling MOBO mobile LED trailers as the authorized US dealer, with nationwide delivery.
Fixed outdoor walls are quoted per project because size, pixel pitch, structure, and installation drive the price. Mobile LED trailers have published market prices: the MOBO MB-10 starts at $55,000, the MB-15 at $75,000, and the flagship enclosed MB-28E at $140,000, with high-brightness configurations priced above each base figure. A quote pins the number to your site and configuration.
Buy a fixed wall when the screen serves one location year-round, such as a sports bar patio, a venue, or a storefront. Buy a trailer when the screen needs to earn at multiple sites: events, advertising routes, and municipal duty. If your need is a handful of dates a year, rent instead. Many operators eventually run both a fixed install and a trailer.
Ask about brightness in direct sunlight, ingress protection against rain and dust, how the display is serviced and where parts come from, what warranty support actually looks like, and whether the supplier helps with installation and permitting. A supplier who cannot answer those five clearly is selling boxes, not systems.
Yes. Our commercial financing partner finances business equipment from $5,000, with a one-page application, no application fee, and credit decisions in 24 to 48 hours. Installation, software, and soft costs can be bundled, terms run 12 to 72 months, up to 84 on some programs, and a municipal lease program up to $1,000,000 covers cities and schools. Figures are reported by the financing partner and approval is not guaranteed.
Tell us the site, or the route the screen will travel, and what you need it to show. We spec the wall or the trailer, price the project, and can put financing on the same quote. Quotes usually go out the same business day.
