The Avante Audio AKRO ATS218 is a high-output dual 18-inch active subwoofer engineered for medium to the largest events. It is the designed low-end partner for the AKRO ATL328 line array: same series, same Milan-networked rig, built to stack, roll, and scale with the arrays above it. Fully active, so there are no amp racks and no external processors to buy or babysit.

Can the ATS218 be ground-stacked?

Yes. The ASB218 stabilizer bar kit (set of two stabilizers) increases stability and safety when ATS218 cabinets are stacked in ground-stack applications. Lock the stack, then play.

How many subs do I need per side?

It depends on the room, the ATL328 array size above it, and the program material. Bass-heavy programs take more subs than speech and acoustic events. Send us the venue and application and we size the sub count alongside the array, free, usually the same business day.

Is the ATS218 on the Milan network too?

Yes. The ATS218 is an AKRO-series cabinet with Milan-networked DSP, so subs and arrays run in the same networked rig.

What amplifier and processor do I need?

None. The ATS218 is fully active, with amplification and DSP onboard. No amp racks, no external processors, fewer points of failure on show day.
