Church AV Financing: Sound, Video, and Lighting for Houses of Worship

A worship AV upgrade does not have to wait for a multi-year capital campaign. Churches and non-profits qualify for equipment financing through our commercial financing partner, and installation and training can ride in the same lease. Here is how the program works and what a financed worship package typically includes.

Why Churches Finance AV Instead of Waiting on a Capital Campaign

Most churches fund big projects one of two ways: save until the money is in hand, or run a capital campaign and build when the pledges arrive. Both work, and both take time, often years. Meanwhile the sanctuary sound system keeps dropping wireless mics mid-sermon, the projector washes out at 11 a.m., and the worship team fights the room every Sunday.

Financing exists for exactly this gap. A congregation's giving arrives monthly, so a monthly equipment payment fits the way church budgets actually work. Instead of a large one-time draw on the building fund, the church gets the system installed now and pays for it out of the same weekly and monthly giving that would have funded the campaign, over a term sized to the budget.

Financing and a campaign are not mutually exclusive, either. Plenty of churches finance the system to get it installed, run the campaign in parallel, and pay the lease down early as pledges come in. And because the first payment can be deferred 60 to 90 days, the congregation can be worshiping on the new system before the first payment is due.

Congregational giving is monthly. A financed AV system turns a large one-time capital expense into a payment that matches how the money actually arrives.

Non-Profits Qualify: Program Terms for Churches

Church audio visual equipment financing runs through the same commercial program we set up for any business buyer. Non-profit status does not disqualify a church; houses of worship and other non-profits qualify with our commercial financing partner. The full terms:

One note for churches that operate a school: our commercial financing partner also runs a municipal lease program for schools and other public entities. Whether a church school qualifies depends on how the school is organized, so if that describes you, mention it when you call and we will point the application at the right program.

What a Worship AV Package Includes

Every sanctuary is different, so we design against the room, the style of worship, and the volunteer team that will run it. A typical financed worship package covers some or all of the following:

Because the whole package can go on one agreement, a church does not have to phase the project awkwardly, sound this year, video next year, lighting whenever. The system gets designed once, installed once, and paid for monthly.

Soft Costs Ride in the Same Lease: Install, Programming, and Training

On an installed church system, the equipment is only part of the project. Rigging, wiring, DSP programming, and training the volunteers who will actually mix on Sunday all cost real money, and a financing program that only covers the boxes leaves the church writing a separate check for the rest.

That is why soft-cost bundling matters. Through our commercial financing partner, installation, software, and soft costs can be bundled into the lease. The practical result: one application, one agreement, one monthly payment that covers the speakers on the wall, the labor that put them there, and the training that makes the volunteer team comfortable behind the console.

Ask any AV vendor whether installation and training can be financed with the equipment. If they cannot be bundled, the quote you are comparing is not the whole project.

The Process in Four Steps

  1. Design and quote. Tell us about the room, the worship style, and the budget. We design the system and send a firm quote, usually the same business day for straightforward projects.
  2. One-page application. The church applies directly with our commercial financing partner. There is no application fee, and the decision comes back in 24 to 48 hours.
  3. Funding. The lender funds the invoice, including bundled installation and training, and the equipment goes on order.
  4. Install and handoff. We install, program, and commission the system, then train the team. The first payment can be deferred 60 to 90 days, so the system is serving the congregation before the first payment arrives.

What Fullblast Supplies for Houses of Worship

Fullblast Sound is a family-owned San Antonio company that designs, supplies, and installs complete AV systems. For worship clients that means one vendor for the whole room:

We quote against your specific room, not from a package sheet, and quotes usually go out the same business day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is church audio visual equipment financing available for non-profits?

Yes. Churches and non-profits qualify for business financing through our commercial financing partner. The application is one page with no application fee, credit decisions come back in 24 to 48 hours, and the partner reports a 94% approval ratio with A through D credit welcome. Approval is not guaranteed, but non-profit status does not disqualify a church.

How long does church sound system financing take to approve?

Credit decisions typically come back in 24 to 48 hours, often the same day. The application is one page and there is no application fee, so a church can find out where it stands within a day or two of picking a system.

Can installation and training be included in a church AV lease?

Yes. Installation, software, and soft costs can be bundled into the lease, so speakers, video displays, wiring, rigging, programming, and volunteer training can all ride on the same agreement with one monthly payment.

Does a church need perfect credit to finance a sound system?

No. A through D credit profiles are welcome, and our commercial financing partner reports a 94% approval ratio. Stronger credit generally means better terms, but an imperfect history does not automatically rule a church out, and there is no application fee to find out.

Can a church defer its first payment until after a capital campaign?

The first payment can be deferred 60 to 90 days through our commercial financing partner, which gives a congregation time to finish a pledge drive or start a giving campaign before the first payment is due. Lease terms run 12 to 72 months, up to 84 on some programs, so the payment can be sized to the congregation's monthly budget.
